add a popup window in the week/month/year view to show the events as a list
Kalenderansicht Woche/Monat/Jahr: Beim Antippen eines Tages wäre ein Popup-Fenster schön, welches die Tages-Termine zur besseren Bearbeitung größer,deutlicher und mit mehr Info darstellt. DANKE!
Version 1.0.56, which has been released a few minutes ago, contains a switch “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Month view”, “Pop-up window with the events of the selected day” for this purpose. Please try it and write in the comments here if this is what you wanted to have or if you would like to have anything changed.

A nice addition would be to be able to scroll down the events on the month view before deciding to tap the day to triger the Events popup. Also, can we have the option to round the corners of the popup? The popup seems is so squared that it almost hurt my eyes. ;)

@johnB: It is stll there, but it is only available if the single tap isn't used for something else. I.e. ensure that "Settings", "Display and Use", "Month view", "Open after single tap" is turned off, then you can turn "Pop-up window with the events of the selected day" on. Please try this and if it doesn't work, send me an email to android@calengoo.com . Thank you very much!

Where has this gone, it's not there any more, I asked for this maybe 4 years ago and when you included it I swapped from business calendar even though I had paid for it. Now I can't find it, it's really useful to look at a days events and add or alter. Please put it back or tell me where you have hidden it

@Anonymous: Thank you for reporting this bug! It will be fixed with the next update, 1.0.93.

The popup list in the week view is very helpful. But after deleting an event/entry from the list, it is not being refreshed (i.e. the deleted entry is still visible in the popup list).

The popup in monthly view is perfect. I woud just love to have it enabled for weekly view as well, as it is rather difficult in many situations to click the correct tiny record displayed...
+3 for me to add the same in week! -

I love the pop up feature for month view, I would love to see it added forall the other views as well. It would make selecting one of multiple all day events much easier

As requested by the developer, the long version of my german mail:

The pop up is fine, please also for week view! And more space to click for closing the window. Hard to hit while walking.

It would be good if one was able to choose an option "Open pop up window by double tap only" in the settings of monthly view.

I really like this function. But please fix:
1. Make the popup centred and bigger (compare with Calendar Pad)
2. Fix so the popup is not so sensitive when tapping, 85% of the times the popup is never triggered due to that the calendar moves 1 pixel left or right.
3. Fix so the back button closes the popup and does not close Calengoo
4. Fix the date format in the popup (it is now fetched from the Agenda date format which is in MM/DD/YYYY no matter what you choose).
5. Add warning message "one more press on the back button will exit Calengoo" -

Just an idea: You could "gray-out" an option, which is not allowed to be checked? So it would be still visible.

Issue:
When you tap on an day without events, the empty popup appears, ok. But in the popup is missing:
- date
- "Add"-button -
Yes, the option is hidden if "Open day view with a single tap" is activated. There cannot be two different actions for the same "single tap" action. It seems to have confused several people that they cannot see the new option, but I don't know how to make it better visible. Maybe I should instead use an entry "Single tap action" and one can choose between "None", "Open day view" and "Open pop-up window"?

Hi, some people seem to have problemls with finding the popup-option, because it's hided in some case. Look here:

Yes, I think that's a problem, several people reported the problem with the scroll sensitivity. Scrolling makes the pop-up disappear and it seems that it happens often that one scrolls the view (by just one pixel or so) instead of just selecting a day. I will try to fix it somehow. Thank you for your feedback fraggy and nica!

you may call me fat finger. yes it works. i might need an option to reduce scroll sensitivity, most of the times i start to scroll.

I can't confirm this.
The popup works like a charm in landscape view, too. Never overlapping with tapped day - good work.

> Yes, that's a good idea, but on the other hand then you also wouldn't

>Yes, it is currently a little bit difficult to close it, but normally I would expect
> that tapping *outside* of the popup window to close it more.Ok, this point is for you! You are right.
