improve the time picker
Please add a comment how this time picker should look like if you vote for this idea.
In version 1.0.78 (which has been released a few minutes ago) a first, experimental version of a new time picker has been added as an option. You can turn it on under “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Use improved time picker”. It offers three choices: “Plus/minus” (the standard time picker), “Numberpad” (a number pad) and “List” (there you just have to tap twice to choose a complete time). Because it is “experimental” it hasn’t been announced in the update description. Instead it is announced here to get some feedback if it is good this way or what should be changed. One thing that is missing are buttons +/-5 minutes which have been suggested here. But maybe the number pad or the list are better choices anyway, so that the +/- 5 minutes buttons are not necessary. Please try the new time picker and write a comment here if it is good this way or what should be changed. If you have any problems with the new time picker, you can just turn it off again and continue to use the standard time picker.

Please make it able to use keypad. Jorte or business calendar style would be good. It's the reason I requested a refund the first time I installed it.

3 votes from me. The time picker is, for me, almost the worst part of Calengoo. The picker in Pimlical is ideal. 24 separate buttons for hours; long press accepts & closes dialog (eg long press on "2PM" button is understood by the software as meaning 2:00PM). Short press enters the hour - then you select the minutes. There are minutes buttons from 00 to 55, every 5 mins. And there is one row of extra button (01 through 04) that you use if you want an intermediate setting. So, pressing 15 then 04 gives you 19 minutes. Pimlical date picker is also great (but the date picker for Calengoo is OK too)

like in business calendar: keypad and also +1 -1 hour buttons and 00, 15, 30, and 45 minute buttons

I was thinking of a wheel like menu button, where you can turn it to the correct time. This seems fastest and most practical. Fast movement on the wheel for big changes, slow movement for more precise tuning.
Other options would be a numeric keypad - fast but boring, or the preset quick options as PocketInformant uses, but that'd be unoriginal and I found that tedious as well. So wheel like for me. -

Pimlical's Time Picker is great: fast, exact, easy.

when pressing "Pick time"-Button
-> show Keypad with numbers 0->9
-> select time by pressing 1330 for one thirty pm
-> entry of numbers: if first number 0 or 1 start at first of four digits, else (>=2) start at second of four digits (615 = quarter past six am)

I installed Icecream Sandwich (4.0.3) ROM and, by default, the time picker there does not select the value (hour/minute) when the picker control receives the focus. Hence it is really annoying having to fiddle with selecting the whole value and then typing the desired one. So my vote goes for faster implementing this. :)
I may have suggested this earlier but let me repeat here - I like the wheel picker. Something like this
http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQh5ET05VNgIQvcPMsL6MJz1DDIbO8pVrJKYDcOeaWyFim7eI3gFQPreviously I was a fan of incrementing by 15 minutes but the wheel picker makes it easy to be precise down to 1 minute and not lose functionality.

Let me adjust the color of the tasks and events on the calendar, black instead of blue would be nice. Other than that really, I freakin love this app. Exactly what I've been looking for. I've been looking for an app like this FOREVER! THANK YOU!

Standart time picker is terrible. At least make it like a keypad please. The one like in bussines calendar ir even better.I'm putting all my votes on this one...can't stand the default android idiotic "many presses dial".

I'd like to see a setting where you can choose how many minutes to jump forward or backward when you click the plus or minus. Choice: Jump by 1, 5, 10, 15. 20, 30. -Wilfred

I agree with fraggy's suggestion. It is critical to be able to enter a time without tapping +1 lots of times.

a keypad where i can enter four digits. underneath a row of four buttons with --, -, ++, +, where -- decrements by one hour, - decremetns by 15 minutes, + increments by 15 minutes and ++ increments by one hour. (the increment/decrement values might be a configurable option, for people who plan their day by the minute)
This way i can quickly enter a time for new dates using the keypad and easily shift existing dates using the inc/dec buttons.
as an alternative the inc dec could be an elastic slider. start to move it a bit to the right, slowly incrementing, move further to the right, faster incrementing, release snap back to the middle.

I want the time picker to be like the one in the ios version of this app. With the ios version there is an entry in the settings where you can choose how many minutes to jump forward or backward when you click the plus or minus (or actually roll the wheels). For the purposes of a calendar there doesn't seem any reason to me to use jumps smaller than 15 minutes.

Any one will do where you do not have to delete the minutes field to input a different set
