Comments on new compact agenda format
I like the new compact format for the agenda, much better use of screen space. But it creates a few issues ...
You can't create a task while in this view, because there are no "add" buttons (I accept there's no room using this format). You can add an event using the menu, but not a task - could you add a "new task" option in the menu for this format?
The event entries don't line up vertically, because the day/date column entries are variable length. This doesn't show up too much unless you use the option for completion-box in the agenda. Then the vertical lines show up badly and look horrible!
Could do with a bit of tiding up.
Thanks

just display a date on the left and empty on the right.
To add a new event in compact list view, you tap on the date in the left column. So if i want to add a new event to a previous empty date, i would like to see empty dates. Otherwise i would add an event and select a new date during edit. And it also helps to see if there are empty days.
The reason i want to see empty dates is, to directly add new events to the right date.

@fraggy: You are right, but since there are no date headers in the compact agenda view, how should the empty days be displayed? Or do you mean that this option should be hidden if the "compact" style is selected?
@Rick: No problem, I have added the date format dd/mm as a third option. It will be included in the next update in about 2-3 weeks.

One other thing here - there are only two options for the date format: mm/dd and dd.mm. I'd like to use dd/mm. I already use dd/mm/yyyy for full dates in other locations, so an option for dd/mm here would be more consistent.

The compact view ignores the setting to show empty days.

The alignment of the entries should be fixed with version 1.0.78 now. New events can now be added by tapping the white space on the left. New tasks cannot be added this way yet, but you can turn "Settings", "Tasks", "New task menu entry" on to get a "New task" entry in the menu.
