Have arrows indicating earlier events see events that don't touch Day View
Currently, the arrows that indicate the existence of events outside Day View don't trigger if the earlier event's end point falls before Day View's start point. E.g., if Day View begins at 8am, the arrow will be triggered for an event that ends at 8am, but not for an event that ends at 7:30am. The same is true for the end point of Day View. An event that starts past Day View's end point fails to trigger the arrow.

Where this is really important is when you, for instance, accidentally schedule someone for 4:30am instead of 4:30pm and never see the appointment and are never warned it might exist in Day View.

In the scenario I describe, you cannot scroll to a 30-minute 7:30am event either, but the arrows show there. You have to use another view to see that event.

Do you mean with "Day View's start point" the time configured under "Settings", "Display and Use", "Day view", "Day start hour"?
Yes, if events are before this "Day start hour", then the arrows are not displayed, because you wouldn't be able to scroll to that time anyway. So it would show that there are events outside the visible range, but you wouldn't be able to see them in the day view at all.
But I agree, that there should be at least an option so that one can choose if the arrows should be displayed in this situation.
