We already spoke about this by email but I wanted to also mention it here if others have the same question: I didn't know that you are using a BlackBerry device. On Android phones there is a status bar with the time at the top. But for BlackBerry devices I will try to add the time in the status bar in the upper left corner.

Thank you for your suggestion! However my phone already displays the current time in the upper right corner of the screen, in the system's status bar. Doesn't that work on your phone? Or did you hide the system's status bar?

I will try to add a direct iCloud sync in the future. Until then you can use e.g. "SmoothSync for Cloud Calendar" ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dmfs.caldav.icloud ) to sync the Android calendar and this way also CalenGoo with iCloud.

The "custom numerical format" is simply the hex number written as decimal number. You are right that it would be easier to change it in hex format but you can just use a hex<->decimal converter to compute the correct numbers.

In which view do you have problems with Greek letters? Several users are using CalenGoo with Hebrew and Cyrillic letters so I would expect it to work with Greek letters, too. Please tell me more about this problem. You can contact me directly under android@calengoo.com . Thank you very much!

I know what is meant with "accordion day view" and I will try to add it in the future. The difference to the agenda view is e.g. that overlapping events are still displayed visually as overlapping.

It might be not exactly what you are looking for (because it opens another screen, i.e. the detail view) but you can just double tap the all-day event and then choose "Delete".

Currently the day view and the week view use the horizontal scrolling to switch between days and weeks. So to use the horizontal scrolling to switch between the different views (day/week/month/agenda/tasks) they would have to be scrolled differently, e.g. vertically. While this might work for the week view, it is probably confusing for most people in the day view. At least if the day is much longer than the screen, then it could be annoying to scroll far down just to get to the next day.

You can probably also just long press the "recent apps" button to open the menu. Additionally you can create new events in other ways: In the day view you can just double tap a free space. In the agenda view you can tap the "+" button. And the week and month view can be configured to create a new event when the blank space in a day is tapped.

But nevertheless a toolbar will be added soon to the bottom of the screen to access the "New event" function directly. It will also contain a larger menu button.

Unfortunately such reminders cannot be saved into Google Calendar. So when syncing such an event with Google the reminder would be lost. However it is planned to add special reminders in CalenGoo that are saved in the description field of the events. Then I can also try to remove this limit.

Just a note: The Google Play refund period has been increased to two hours, so you can try each app for two hours now:

@MHilton: That's wrong, CalenGoo can fix the problem, it can download all your future and past events, even if they are more than a year in the past or the future. All you have to do is to sync it directly with Google Calendar:

Just uncheck "Settings", "Accounts", "Android" in CalenGoo and afterward use the "Add account" button to add your Google Calendar account. Please see here for details:

    http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/pageaccounts/pageaccounts.html

If you would like to get a trial version that lasts longer (e.g. 72 hours), just contact me under android@calengoo.com

Yes, I will try to release a trial version in the future. However I have experienced this when developing the beta version and the final version in parallel: It causes a lot of work to create two independent versions of the same app, because they should not use the same IDs/intents. But that's why many apps tell the user to deinstall the trial/beta version before installing the final version.

If you like you can buy the app from AndroidPIT then you have a 24 hour refund period:

    http://android.calengoo.com/pagestore/pagestore.html#alternativestore

But yes, a lite or trial version would be a good idea and will probably be released at some time in the future.

You can already use different notification sounds for different calendars under "Settings", "Reminders", "Different sounds for different calendars". However it isn't possible to use a special sound only for a single event in a calendar yet.

Would it be sufficient to add this function as an option to the long press menu of the agenda view?

Please try to change the style to "Simple" for the list widget, then further options should appear. Additionally you should turn "Scrollable widget" on.

The columns-widget is a single image and images can only have a certain size in widgets. That's why it is limited to 4x3. I will try to find a better solution in the future but widgets have several technical limits which makes it difficult or impossible to display such a scalable columns-widget with a larger size.

Maybe this already helps a little: You can turn "Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "Tapping a tab again jumps to current day" on to get a "Today" button, i.e. you just have to tap the active tab again to jump to the current day.

Do you mean that you would like the reminders (pop-up, sms, email) to be removed from the events in Google Calendar and CalenGoo? Or do you mean that active notification should be removed from Android's status bar after 2-3 days?

Because you mentioned a white font you probably mean the text color of all-day events. It is white by default but can be changed under "Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "All-day events font color".

The colors of the calendars can be changed (and made darker) by tapping the names of your calendars under "Settings", "Visibility/Download".

Yes, you can just change the colors: The font color is the color of the calendar the event belongs to. To change the color of a calendar just tap the calendar's name under "Settings", "Visibility/Download".
