A number of arguments could be made in favor of this feature. First, it would give Droid users a realistic path to be able to escape some of the persistent quirks in Google Calendar by moving to a different online calendar server with greater reliability. Second, for users with privacy concerns, this functionality would allow moving calendar data to a private server. Third, it would allow a combined view of calendar events from a number of different sources, both Google and non-Google. Fourth, with access to different servers, it would also be possible to move individual events -- or sets of events -- between servers. Fifth, it's just a cool idea, wouldn't you agree? :-)

Please try to turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Show calendar selection bar” on. Then you will get a bar at the bottom of the screen with the names of your visible calendars. By tapping them you can toggle them between visible and invisible.
If you need something else, please add it as comments to this idea. Otherwise I will close this idea soon.
