Enhance notifications & alerts
Notifications and alerts could get some enhancements:
- Cancel functionality to exit a notification without snoozing AND without closing it.
Actually, when exiting a notification without snoozing (via back button), the notification gets lost. I would like it to stay active in the notification area.- more than one popup notification would be nice
Actually, only one popup notification is possible. Others get lost.501 votesA few minutes ago version 1.0.81 has been released which contains a first version of an improved pop-up window that can display multiple reminders and lets you snooze them individually. You can turn it on under “Settings”, “Reminders”, “Show pop-up window”, “Display multiple events in pop-up window”. Please try it and write in the comments here if something doesn’t work or should be changed/improved. Thank you very much!

group notifications
I often use the notifications in the notification area for event reminders.
I would like to have the option to group the notfications so that only the number and one symbol is shown in the notification area.
When having several reminders, this helps keeping the notification area not too crowded. The Astrid App has a similar approach for task notifications.492 votesA few minutes ago version 1.0.81 has been released. It contains something like these “group notifications”: If you turn “Settings”, “Reminders”, “Show pop-up window” and “Display multiple events in pop-up window” on you can set “Display pop-up” to “After selecting status bar notification”. Then a single status bar notification will show how many reminders are due and by tapping it you will get a pop-up window that displays these reminders. Please write in the comments here if something doesn’t work correctly or should be changed. Thank you very much!

Show/Hide Calendars per view (day/week/month/list)
I would like to be able to select which calendar is shown in which view.
F.e. I would like to hide a calendar in month view, but show in every other view.
New calendars should be shown in every calendar, but could then be disabled in individual views261 votes -

add priorities to tasks
allow the user to specify a priority for each task (1-5) and use it to sort the tasks when they are displays in one of the calendar views for a single day.
229 votesTask priorities have been added with version 1.0.85, which has been released yesterday. To assign a priority to a task just tap on the circle before the task list’s name in the task edit screen. Please see “Priorities” here for details:

If you think this isn’t sufficient or anything is missing, please add a comment to this idea. Thank you very much!

improve the time picker
Please add a comment how this time picker should look like if you vote for this idea.
196 votesIn version 1.0.78 (which has been released a few minutes ago) a first, experimental version of a new time picker has been added as an option. You can turn it on under “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Use improved time picker”. It offers three choices: “Plus/minus” (the standard time picker), “Numberpad” (a number pad) and “List” (there you just have to tap twice to choose a complete time). Because it is “experimental” it hasn’t been announced in the update description. Instead it is announced here to get some feedback if it is good this way or what should be changed. One thing that is missing are buttons +/-5 minutes which have been suggested here. But maybe the number pad or the list are better choices anyway, so that the +/- 5 minutes buttons are not necessary. Please try the new time picker and write a comment here if it is…

Make calendarbar individually sortable
Actually the calendarbar is not sortable. Each time I transfer my calengoo settings to a new smartphone or restore my settings, my calendars in the calendarbar are re-sorted in a different way than before. It is not possible to set the primary calendar at first position and e.g. the birthday calendar at the last position.
It would be really great if the the calendars in the calendarbar would be individually sortable via the global settings.

add a list of snoozed/unacknowledged reminders
List all of the reminders that are active/not acknowledge or snoozed in a
checklist. The check will acknowledge the reminder and will remove it from
the list. To snooze have the little down arrow to the right sight to show
your existing snooze popup. If never acknowledged then the reminder will
always be in the list. Sort list by putting the latest reminders at the top.193 votes -

Have arrows indicating earlier events see events that don't touch Day View
Currently, the arrows that indicate the existence of events outside Day View don't trigger if the earlier event's end point falls before Day View's start point. E.g., if Day View begins at 8am, the arrow will be triggered for an event that ends at 8am, but not for an event that ends at 7:30am. The same is true for the end point of Day View. An event that starts past Day View's end point fails to trigger the arrow.

Multiple snoozes need more choises
Hi. When snoozing, 4 options is way too little. Please can you add many more snooze options.
e.g. 1min, 5min, 15min 1hr, 2, hr, 1 day, 2 day ....etc....OR just make the snooze time totally customizabel on snooze as I saw in an alarm app where one can input exactly "number" desires amd then choose either "min" and/or "hour" and/or "days"

Make the day view pinch-zoomable
It's nice that the day view is now swipe-scrollable -- thanks! -- and that the height of an hour can be set in settings, but these days "pinch zoom" is the standard way to adjust the view on Android. And much more convenient to quickly get an overview of your day before zooming back in to the morning or afternoon or evening.

Adding a snooze "5 min before meeting start"
Just curious on your thoughts of the 5 min snooze before a meeting... today was another good example... I kept ignoring the meeting reminder at 11am and it was not until about 11:12 I looked at the phone. Since I have set options for snooze for 1hr, 5min, 10min, 1day, etc none really fit since I did not check the phone at 11a when I was first alerted due to talking to a client. It would be nice like it does in Outlook and the HTC calendar app to have an option the "snooze 5min before meeting start" this way…

Give the option of not going to the calendar after snooing or dismissing a pop-up reminder
In Reminder Settings, after snoozing/dismissing a pop-up reminder, give the option of going back to where the device was when the reminder was activated rather than going to the calendar app. Why go to the calendar when the reminder was acted upon? Perhaps give the option on the pop-up box to go to the calendar.

add a popup window in the week/month/year view to show the events as a list
Kalenderansicht Woche/Monat/Jahr: Beim Antippen eines Tages wäre ein Popup-Fenster schön, welches die Tages-Termine zur besseren Bearbeitung größer,deutlicher und mit mehr Info darstellt. DANKE!
114 votesVersion 1.0.56, which has been released a few minutes ago, contains a switch “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Month view”, “Pop-up window with the events of the selected day” for this purpose. Please try it and write in the comments here if this is what you wanted to have or if you would like to have anything changed.

Improve tasks widget
The calendar widgets are great, but unlike the others the tasks widget is a single fixed size, does not scroll, has very limited options, looks different to other widgets, does not resize and has a big clumsy arrow that takes up too much screen estate.
Only ask that the quality of this widget reaches the rest of this fantastic app!

categories or colors for events
The possibility to set categories for an event. Or i can use a range of sticky colors = it's easy to set always the same color for the same kind of an event.
