Quick turn on/off (visability/download)view of google calenders
When you have calenders with lots of appointment or activity (50 employee schedules) it would be nice to turn it on/off right from the menu option. maybe replace the search key most android phone have a hard search key already.
Please try to turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Show calendar selection bar” on. Then you will get a bar at the bottom of the screen with the names of your visible calendars. By tapping them you can toggle them between visible and invisible.
If you need something else, please add it as comments to this idea. Otherwise I will close this idea soon.

3. (i am on fire ;-) introduce the ability to group the calendars independent of the account they are coming from, so they can be hidden/unhidden as a group in one click.

1. Thanks for the awesome tool!!
2. i am working with 20+ different calendars from google, so the "Show calendar selection bar" is filling my whole screen -> not an option.my idea: (stolen from dolphin browser) In Month view make display scrolable vertically and without clicking in -> scroll week by week. This would open the option to scroll left/right for certain settings: for example
left: calendar list with hide/unhide, sync/don't sync tickbox
right: something else usefull like create new event or .... -

Would it be possible to link this Calendar display bar to the widgets? Meaning, if I chose to turn off a particular calendar when I was inside the program, could it be made to turn off that same calendar in the widget when I exit the program? I know the "Business Calendar" program has a feature similar to that. In that program however, all the calendars available remain in the Display calendars bar all the time to be turned on and off from any screen within the program.

Wonderful - nice solution. Sorry for not "detecting" it myself.
Thank you! Uli Becker

I agree, I often display or hide a calendar - an easy switch would be great.
Thanks. Uli

I agree, sometimes I would just like to see one of my kids' calendars when I need to schedule an appointment for them or something. And there's no need for a visible/invisible drop down box; just a toggling checkbox would be much faster.
