An error occurred while saving the comment You can already add time zone settings for new calendar entries: Just turn "Settings", "Display and Use", "Edit view", "Show time zone of event" on.
A start and end time for tasks is planned for a later version.

An error occurred while saving the comment As far as I remember Touchdown can mirror its data into the Android calendar so that CalenGoo can see and display it.
But as a long term solution it is planned to sync CalenGoo directly with Exchange in the future. This way it should be able to sync event categories and tasks from Exchange.
An error occurred while saving the comment I am not sure yet, they don't seem to have a public interface to allow other apps to access the data. I will examine it later.

An error occurred while saving the comment While an event is created you can choose "Convert to task" from the menu of the edit screen to convert it into a task.
And events can certainly also have reminders, please see here for further details: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageedit/pagereminders/pagereminders.html
Is that what you were looking for? Or do you need something else? Thank you very much!

An error occurred while saving the comment It requires a little work but you can already use CalenGoo's ICS export function for this purpose: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageadvanced/pagebackup/styled/pageicsexport.html

Are you using the full screen notifications pop-up, i.e. did you turn “Wake screen” and/or “Unlock screen” on? I saw these buttons today, that’s certainly a bug. They should have a light gray font on black background. It will be fixed with the next update and if you like I can send you a new version earlier, just send me an email. :-)

An error occurred while saving the comment Unfortunately that's because the widget has to be displayed as an image. Please see here to read more about the limitations of Android widgets and why these problems with the margin occur:

An error occurred while saving the comment You are right, the task edit screen should be changed, too! I will add the same design for the task edit screen in the next few weeks.

An error occurred while saving the comment In CalenGoo's edit screen you can choose "Insert last call" from the menu. This way you can add the contact to the event. Is that already sufficient or do you need something else?

have the screens you"tap into" as the Visible screens on your android as well as the current widgets
3 votesAn error occurred while saving the comment There are technical limitations why widgets cannot look exactly the same as the screens inside an app. But I will try to make the widgets more similar.

An error occurred while saving the comment I will try to release the new design in the next few weeks.
An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you for your suggestions! And I am glad that you like the new iOS design! It is planned to add a similar design to the Android version soon, too!

Version 1.0.56, which has been released a few minutes ago, contains a switch “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Month view”, “Pop-up window with the events of the selected day” for this purpose. Please try it and write in the comments here if this is what you wanted to have or if you would like to have anything changed.
An error occurred while saving the comment @johnB: It is stll there, but it is only available if the single tap isn't used for something else. I.e. ensure that "Settings", "Display and Use", "Month view", "Open after single tap" is turned off, then you can turn "Pop-up window with the events of the selected day" on. Please try this and if it doesn't work, send me an email to android@calengoo.com . Thank you very much!
An error occurred while saving the comment @Anonymous: Thank you for reporting this bug! It will be fixed with the next update, 1.0.93.
An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, the option is hidden if "Open day view with a single tap" is activated. There cannot be two different actions for the same "single tap" action. It seems to have confused several people that they cannot see the new option, but I don't know how to make it better visible. Maybe I should instead use an entry "Single tap action" and one can choose between "None", "Open day view" and "Open pop-up window"?
An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, I think that's a problem, several people reported the problem with the scroll sensitivity. Scrolling makes the pop-up disappear and it seems that it happens often that one scrolls the view (by just one pixel or so) instead of just selecting a day. I will try to fix it somehow. Thank you for your feedback fraggy and nica!
An error occurred while saving the comment Great, I am glad that you like it! Thank you for your quick response! Regarding your suggestions:
> No popup if there is no event
Yes, that's a good idea, but on the other hand then you also wouldn't get the "+" button to add new events for that day. Maybe I will just add it as another configuration option.
> Closing the popup by tapping anywhere in the popup window
Yes, it is currently a little bit difficult to close it, but normally I would expect that tapping *outside* of the popup window to close it would be more intuitive. But then you would have to tap once to close it and once again to open it for a different day. I think that it would confuse most users that tapping on one of their appointments in this pop-up closes the pop-up but doesn't open the event. I will collect more suggestions/opinions and then I will decide how to proceed. :)
An error occurred while saving the comment Das Update ist seit ca. einer Stunde im Android Market verfügbar. Bitte probier es mal aus und schreib mir ( android@calengoo.com ), ob es so in Ordnung ist.
An error occurred while saving the comment It will probably be included for the month view in version 1.0.56 (the next update). :-)
Es wird wahrscheinlich zumindest für die Monatsansicht in Version 1.0.56 (im nächsten Update) enthalten sein. :-)

An error occurred while saving the comment Tapping the list widget should open the view which you configured under "Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "View after startup". Did you try to set that option to "Agenda view"? Or would you like to configure this option separately so that the list widget opens the list and the "View after startup" is something else?

An error occurred while saving the comment Do you mean the option that specifies the minute precision for the time wheels on the iPad? But the Android app doesn't have such time wheels. It has other options to enter the time:
http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageedit/styled/pagetimepicker.html
Do you mean you would like to change the minute precision of the "+/-" time picker instead?

An error occurred while saving the comment Such a button will be added with one of the next updates when the action bar will be supported. The action bar will be a menu bar at the top with a "Today" and a "New event" button.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, I don't understand what you mean, can you please tell me more about it? You don't need to unlink all events of a recurring event. You just have to sync the recurring event with Google Calendar so that it gets a recurrence ID. Then you can edit individual events. Please see the mentioned website in my first comment for details.
Additionally the current version should also be able to create recurrence exceptions for calendars that are not synced with Google at all, by adding the modified date as an exception date to the recurrence rule and creating an independent event for the modified date. What kind of calendars are you using? Google calendars or other calendars?
An error occurred while saving the comment It should already work, can you please try the suggestions here:
http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageedit/pagerecurring/pagerecurring.html#recurrenceexceptions

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi! As a workaround you could use a daily recurring event and make it either "floating" or use CalenGoo's "completable events" function so that the events get a checkbox and you can mark them as completed. Please see here for further details:
http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageadvanced/pagecompletable/pagecompletable.html
Thank you for this suggestion! The current version displays the same calendars that are visible on your phone, it takes even the calendar selection bar ( http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/pagecalendars/styled/pagecalendarbar.html ) into account. However I can certainly add an option to filter further calendars in the near future. :-)
Kind regards
