    Thank you for your suggestion! But according to this web page there are fax machines that can receive SMS messages without any further conversion:

    So for these fax machines it would be correct to display the SMS links.

    Please tell me what you would like to have: Should CalenGoo search your contacts for the displayed phone number and when it finds it, check if it is labeled as “Mobile” or “Work mobile” and only then display the SMS link? Is that correct?

    Yes, any mobile number listed in contacts is fine. If a person still wants to sms a fax machine they still can from their phone, it just wont be listed as an sms on your calendar.
