allow creation of recurring tasks
Hi! A few minutes ago version 1.0.34 has been released. It contains new functions to create and use recurring tasks, please see here for a short description:

If you find any bugs or if anything is missing, please either write it as comment into this idea or send an email to android@calengoo.com .

It would be great to be able to set random reminders! Like Astrid does.

Without this, you just have another calendar. When will this be added?

Recently switched to Android and CalenGoo is really slick but it needs repeating tasks. As others said, this is critical to productive task management

This is a vital part of my daily planning. Medication reminders that occur daily, way too much trouble to enter each 1 separately. Weekly reminders such as trash. Need to be able to set a pattern. Using an entirely different app to achieve this, however my CakenGoo keeps giving me an IO Response error stating did not sync tasks w/ Google even before started using other. Love CalenGoo in every other way, but this is really interfering w/ my daily schedule & not Syncing correctly is a huge problem in itself.

This function is no.1 priority for me, too. I'm now using a different app for this function only.
I'm looking forward to Google supporting it, but it's already been 2 months since that blog post and no news from Google... -

Actually, that may be coming soon from Google: http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/top-tasks-for-google-tasks.html

After performance, which has been improved significantly, this is highest priority for me.
Although Google Tasks do not support recurrence, I *do* need the tasks app to take care of that. Should not be too hard to implement? As long as next task is in the list, that serves the purpose. Not all the scheduled tasks have to be displayed. When a task is done, the next one is created. -

I second this. Very necessary for, say, taking out the trash each week!

This would be EXTREMELY useful !
