Check out the Gtasks widget by Dato for a nice example. If you make it scrollable and show indents, that would make your app the best on the market for both calendar AND tasks!

Version 1.0.56, which has been released a few minutes ago, contains a switch “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Month view”, “Pop-up window with the events of the selected day” for this purpose. Please try it and write in the comments here if this is what you wanted to have or if you would like to have anything changed.

I love the pop up feature for month view, I would love to see it added forall the other views as well. It would make selecting one of multiple all day events much easier

And allow for a time selection, such as a +/- screen to set custom reminder snooze times, rather than just having set snooze periods.

Please try to turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Show calendar selection bar” on. Then you will get a bar at the bottom of the screen with the names of your visible calendars. By tapping them you can toggle them between visible and invisible.
If you need something else, please add it as comments to this idea. Otherwise I will close this idea soon.

Would it be possible to link this Calendar display bar to the widgets? Meaning, if I chose to turn off a particular calendar when I was inside the program, could it be made to turn off that same calendar in the widget when I exit the program? I know the "Business Calendar" program has a feature similar to that. In that program however, all the calendars available remain in the Display calendars bar all the time to be turned on and off from any screen within the program.

I am now using Gingerbread and SwiftKey 2.0 Beta, and the problem seems to have gone away. Can anyone else confirm this with other versions of Android or keyboards?

It appears that way. I have a droid x also. I've had the same problem with the keyboards listed as well as with SwiftKey

Also, there is a bug (I'm using the Motorola Droid X) when you have "automatically show keyboard" selected as an option. When you hit the back key, it does not close and you cannot access the Save or Cancel buttons.

And now the problem does not seem to exist. I was in another time zone yesterday when editing, but don't see how that would have caused this problem. Perhaps the update you released yesterday fixed this problem?
I am using a Motorola Droid X with FroYo, not rooted.

I created an all day event on April 17. I set it to repeat daily until April 23. When I realized yesterday (April 22) that the event was supposed to end on April 22, I went in to adjust the event. I clicked on the first day of the event to view. Details page shows it correctly. I touched Edit, and the start day showed up as Saturday, April 17, and the end day as Friday April 23. When I clicked on the date to adjust it, the calendar that came up showed sunday as April 16, 2011. The rest of the calendar days were in order, meaning none were repeated, but no date was actually on the correct day of the week.

All day event repeating from April 17-23, when editing, days of the week and calendar show up with wrong days and wrong calendar. I tried to edit starting Sunday, dates showed up correctly in the view window, but were wrong in the first editing window, then different dates showed up on the calendar as well.

And the weekend days have a different color. Unless there is a way to make the weekend days half height at the beginning and end of the week, I think you can mark this one completed.

I just found how to fix the problem! I unchecked "make weekends half height" and now Sunday is my first day of the week in portrait view. The only thing missing now is to make weekends half height, but put one at the beginning of the week and one at the end of the week. Or change colors for weekend days!

Could you please add the ability to select Sunday or Monday as the first day of the week in Portrait Week view? I see it as a choice in other views. Is it possible to make it a choice for portrait week view as you did in the iPhone version?

In the portrait week view, the calendar makes your eyes jump back and forth from left to right, making it somewhat hard to read. If you could make it so the calendar reads from top to bottom, and add the ability to make Sunday the first day of the week in portrait week view, I think it would add greatly to the functionality.

I would like to be able to see Sunday as the first day of the week in the Portrait view. (Or have the choice to select it as the first day of the week)
