Are you talking about the application or the widgets? For a widget, I think it is absolutely necessary that it allows to set transparency to 100%, showing the underlying wallpaper. But for an application, I don't think that this is necessary.

Starting with version 1.0.77 it is now possible to turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Change background color on days where certain calendars (e.g. holiday calendars) have all-day events” on. Then you can choose your holiday calendar(s) to display these days with a different background color in all views.

I agree. This would be very comfortable in week view. At the moment, you can use different calendars only which show up as different appointment colors. "Today" can be market in a different color, which is very nice. If it would be possible to mark certain appointments to trigger a selectable background color for the whole day of this appointment, they would stand out in week view at a glance. Would be very handy for instance to mark business trips - you see at a glance that you are abroad on that day even when scrolling fast.

I absolutely agree with this. The predefined sizes of the widgets don't fit my needs, and they are not very good customizable. This issue has 23 votes only, but if you check out Android Market and www.android-hilfe.de (for instance), you find many users saying "CalenGoo is great, but not the widgets. Use other calendar widgets from the Market in addition". I don't like this idea, I would rather have good widgets with CalenGoo built-in.
For instance, the 2x2 list widget shows the date with a grey background, which doesn't look nice and takes too much space in contrast to showing the date in front of the appointment itself and not in a separate line. When you select to not use the calendar colors (which is necessary if you want to use 100% transparency on a dark background because you will not see the apointments then except if you set font color to white), you cannot select to show calendar color fields/icons in front of the appointments to see at a glance if they are personal or business. There ARE tiny little lines in front of the appointments with calendar colors, but these are not very helpful. The day widget is able to display three appointments for the next days, but only three, not 5 or 6 with a smaller font size. The big day "icon" on the left side of the widget with its dark background looks not very nice, but you cannot select to not show it. And so on...
So please, make the widgets more customizable. I hope this is the correct issue to post here, or should I open a spearate feedback item for this?

I absolutely agree to this wish. The predefined sizes for the available widgets are very limited by now, as is the ability to customize them. This has 22 votes only by now, but I saw many more on Android market and in www.android-hilfe.de where users said CalenGoo is great, but the widgets are not and you should use another calendar widget available on the Market in combination with CalenGoo. I don't like this idea, I would rather like to have good customizable widgets directly in CalenGoo.
I agree to these suggestions, just have no votes left to give it here.
