SIMPLE: Add a way to strike out events not just tasks, in any color
I'm a Ballroom dance instructor, and have to keep track of scheduling dozens of students each wk, along w keeping track of their hours. As well as the ones that cancel/reschedule. So rather than delete them from my calendar, i would like to be able to go back & see which ones canceled in the last week/month.
It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
1 voteThat’s already possible, you can strike out events. Just turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Completable events” on and set “Display of completed events” to “Crossed out”. Then every event will get a checkbox and when it is checked, the event will be displayed crossed out. Please see here for further details:

Please tell me ( android@calengoo.com ) if you have any questions!

No editing capability for hierarchical Tasks
No editing capability for hierarchical Tasks
A missing nice feature:
Google calendar offers the feature to intent your Tasks creating a hierarchy of Tasks. If I'll create at Google Calendar an hierarchy of Tasks then I can see this hierarchy under CalenGoo but I'm not able to edit it. I.e. I can't indent a Task under another one, etc.3 votesThat’s already implemented, you can indent tasks in CalenGoo. Just ensure that you are using the sort order “Edit/Reorder” and then tap&hold a task and move it to the right to indent it. Please watch the video here: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/pagetasks/pagetasks.html
Please contact me under android@calengoo.com if you still have problems.

fix the add last contact.
To add the contact in description is good but it erases the info in the title screen. please fix.
7 votesThe last contact will now (with version 1.0.88, which has been released about an hour ago) only be appended to the title (name of the contact if available) and description (phone number) instead of replacing it.

Go back to being able to delete single event vs "This&Future"
I used to be able to delete one episode of a recurring event. Now I have to choose between deleting This&Future and Entire Series. Please change it back. Thank you for this amazing calendar app!!
1 voteThis function hasn’t been removed, but it is (and ever was) necessary that the recurring event has an ID, which its get during syncing. Please see “Creating recurrence exceptions” here for details:

Synchronize individual colors with Google Calendar
Since the original Web Interface of Google Calendar intself is able to set an individual color for an event/appointment, I'd like to see CalenGoo to synchronize from that.
The propitary colors who are already inserted within CalenGoo are already nice, but I and many others I think prefer inserting an Appointment via Googles Webinterface since it comes way more efficient to insert lots of data with an actuall notebook instead of an small QWETY keyboard.
6 votesThis has been implemented a while ago, you just have to sync via OAuth2, please see here for details: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/pageeventcolors/pageeventcolors.html

Change font size on pop up window
The pop up window that reminds you of a n event can be modified only with color options, for background of the window and the font. Would be nice to be able to change font size for those like me that cannot take our glasses everytime you need to read that :-) Please, I'm sure it's not big deal and it would be very useful for us.
Thanks!3 votesThank you for this suggestion! It was included in version 1.0.81 There this setting can be found under “Settings”, “Reminders”, “Show pop-up window”, “Title Font”.

have the ability to have the snooze function update the event time
For example: if an event scheduled for 10am is 'snoozed' for an hour, it then appears as an 11am event until completed or re-snoozed. Events 'snoozed' for a day would shift on the calendar view to the next day. This way events postponed would move forward and stay in view rather than disappear as the week moved forward. If I snooze an event I really don't care when it was originally scheduled but when I postponed it to remind me again.
36 votesThis is possible by turning “Settings > Reminders > Snoozing moves the whole event to a new time, not only the reminder” on.

Only Event Flair icons can be seen in Google calendar.
When I downloaded the famfamfam icons, I noticed that only the downloaded Event Flair icons can be seen in Google calendar via the browser of my laptop. Even the original set of icons from CalenGoo cannot be displayed. Is there a way to make all 3 sets visible in Google calendar in the browsers?
1 voteSo it works now? I also tried it myself, all icons were displayed correctly in Google Calendar. However you cannot choose from additional icons in Google Calendar, you can only see already assigned icons in the events.

Tabs of Landscape view not visible in Galaxy S2.
On my Galaxy Tab, the tabs are visible for the Landscape view. But on my Galaxy S2, they are not visible. Can this be fixed?
1 voteJust turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Landscape day view (week)”, “Hide day/week/month tabs” off. Then they should be displayed.

Let us help create icons.
Can you make an icon tool available to us? This will enable us to build our own customized icons. We can then share them with you so you can adopt if you like.
1 voteClosed, please see the comments.

Toggle displayed calendars without going through settings
When you use a lot of calendars, you usually have one main calendar and then other ancillary ones used for reference. It would be wonderful to be able to toggle calendars off and on while viewing the calendar without going through settings.
1 voteThank you for this suggestion! But I think that’s already possible, just use the “Calendar selection bar” as explained here:

With version 1.0.85, which was released today, templates are now supported: In the menu of the detail view you can tap on “Templates” to create a new template from the currently displayed event. In the menu of the edit view you can tap on “Templates” to insert a template into the current event. They can also be combined, i.e. applied one after each other (e.g. a location template and an attendees template). Please see here for details: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageedit/styled/pagetemplates.html

Just set “Settings”, “Widgets”, “Agenda widget”, “Time format” to “Long Start/End”, then you can see the start and end time, e.g. “09:00-12:00 study”.

Choose which events are "completable"
Currently, if I choose "completable events" under Display and Use, General, then ALL my events are completable and have a checkbox. This is great for some events that I want to check off once they are completed. However, some of my events, such as birthdays or a milestone event I want to post on my calendar, do not need a checkbox.
It would be an awesome feature if we were given the option when we create an event to choose whether it will be a completable event or not.
Thanks for a great product (my most used app!).
3 votesIn the current version 1.0.168 it is now possible to mark only individual events as completable by turning “Settings > Display and Use > General > Completable events > All events are completable” off.

Import Past Events from Google Calendar that are Older than 1 Month
When starting a new android device, then importing events from Google Calendar does not work. Because events older than about 1 month are not imported. I'm having this problem now. New events were imported but I'm missing critical event history that I need in my calendar.
This is a well known bug in the Google calendar system that no user has been able to solve reliably since at least August 2009.
More complete info can be found in this android blog ...
3 votesThat’s already possible with CalenGoo: Just sync CalenGoo directly with Google Calendar as explained here, then it will download all your past and future events:
http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/pageaccounts/pageaccounts.html
You just have to uncheck “Settings”, “Accounts”, “Android” in CalenGoo and add your Google account using the “Add Account” button. Please tell me if you have any problems!

Schnittstelle für die APP 'Tasker' implementieren / Add an interface for 'Tasker'
Bitte eine Schnittstelle schaffen um mit der APP 'Tasker' das Handy durch Termine im Kalender steuern zu können. Denkbare Variablen wären z.B. Termin aktiv?; welcher Kalender?; Bezeichnung des Termins; Termin von; Termin bis;
Please add an Interface for Tasker in order to use the CalenGoo appointments to control the mobile phone. Thinkable variables are for example appointment active?; calendar of appointment?; appointment name?; appointment start?; appointment end?
Thanks

add an alarm to the reminders
It would be nice if an alarm could go off until u dismiss or snooze it. The reminder now is just a little Heep with a popular and I personally have MISSED appointments, latest one thiis morning. I live by a schedule and would like a better ALERT SYSTEM
3 votesThat’s already implemented: Just turn “Settings”, “Reminders”, “Show pop-up window” on if you would like to get a pop-up instead of a status bar reminder. Check “Sound” if you would like to get an audible alarm. You can also choose a sound that should be played. If it is not loud enough, please check the volume for notifications in the “Settings” app. Please see here how you can fix these problems:
Please contact me under android@calengoo.com if you still have problems.

Enhance notifications & alerts
Notifications and alerts could get some enhancements:
Cancel functionality to exit a notification without snoozing AND without closing it.
Actually, when exiting a notification without snoozing (via back button), the notification gets lost. I would like it to stay active in the notification area.more than one popup notification would be nice
Actually, only one popup notification is possible. Others get lost.
611 votesCalenGoo can now display reminders as status bar notifications or with a pop-up window. When displaying them as a pop-up window with “Display multiple reminders…” checked, it can display multiple reminders at once and closing the pop-up does not discard them. You can open the pop-up again from the status bar and the reminders will be displayed until you dismiss them with the “x” or the “Dismiss all” button.

Make notification vibration customizable (interval, repeat)
I would like to have the notification vibration customizable like the reminder sounds (per calendar).
Interval, repetition would be nice.117 votesI will mark this idea as completed now, because it has already been implemented a while ago, seems to work good and there were no further suggestions regarding this idea in the comments.
