modify swipe behaviour
I suggest the swipe behavior gets modified so that
- horizontal swipe cycles between the views. This is what buttons at the top currently do. Swiping would add some screen real-estate and would make it more convenient to loop through the views.
- vertical swipe cycles through the periods within the view (i.e. days, weeks, months, etc.)

This is (besides some minors like a today button right up front) the only thing really keeping me from using calengoo. It is a massive workflow booster in aCalendar.
You could invent two buttons for next/previous day in the day view (I would go from day to week in most cases instead of going to the next day)
or
invent a whole day on screen at once choice for the day view.Anyways, the swipe for switching between views would be great.

aCalendar does this, and very successfully so. One gets familiar to it in no time and can move very quickly through the views (in particular given the vertical two-finger swipes which advance the month view by a year, the week view by a month, and the day view by a week).
Of course, this all presupposes a day view without internal vertical swipes. CalenGoo optionally provides for such a day view, with the day column being fit to the screen.

Currently the day view and the week view use the horizontal scrolling to switch between days and weeks. So to use the horizontal scrolling to switch between the different views (day/week/month/agenda/tasks) they would have to be scrolled differently, e.g. vertically. While this might work for the week view, it is probably confusing for most people in the day view. At least if the day is much longer than the screen, then it could be annoying to scroll far down just to get to the next day.

Would be very nice, when the tabs could be replaced with this behaviour.
