Define Colors by Hex/RGB Codes
In the visual settings, I'd like to be able to pick precise colors with the option to define them by their RGB and hex codes.
77 votesThis has been implemented a while ago. Just long press a color setting in the “Settings > Display and Use” screens and choose “Enter color values” to enter RGB values for the color.

Improve the day-widget 4x1
It would be nice not only to see the current appointment, but also all appointments of the day. The actual widget isn't that handy to get an overlook over the day. The list-widgets instead are showing more than the appointments of the current day and have other dimensions than 4x1.
67 votesSince this idea was completed a while ago and all requested features are implemented, I will close this idea now.

add a 2x2 widget only for tasks
The widget should display tasks that are due or overdue and optionally tasks for the upcoming days and tasks without a due date.
64 votesBecause this feature has been implemented for a while now (since version 1.0.38) and there were no further comment or requests, I will close this idea now.

add timed tasks and reminders
allow to specify a time for a task and be reminded at this time that the task is due
64 votesThe new version 1.0.25 which has been released about an hour ago, contains a function to add reminders to your tasks. In the task edit screen you can add reminders. These reminders are saved as comments in the notes field of the task (because Google Tasks has no own reminder function). At the specified time a notification is displayed and you can open the task by tapping the notification.

Day View scrollable
Hi,
Would it be possible that, in day view, the entire day appear (0h to 23h).
That it not be necessary to scroll (verticaly) the view.
Perhaps the possibility to chose the day start/end, like in the Landscape Day View?
Thanks for the answer and for this very good app.45 votesThis function has been implemented now. Under “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Day view” there are three new options: “Day start hour” and “Day end hour” to specify a time range. And “Height of an hour” to choose either “Fit screen” or sizes from “50%” to “300%” to specify the height of an hour.
The other suggestions, i.e. arrows at the top and bottom of the screen and a compressed view are also good ideas and will be added later.

Include the Number of Years for Annual Events
For annually recurring events it would be nice to display the number of years displayed from the start or the recurrence. For example, John's Birthday (42) - where the start of the recurrence is in 1969. This could be controlled by an option.
...and, it would be even better if the option to display this information could be event specific. For example, you could set the displaying for Birthday events (for which the birth year is known), but exclude events where the start year is unknown or irrelevant (ie. New Years Day, Valentines Day, etc.).42 votesSince version 1.0.48, you can turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Display age of annual events” on to see the age of annual all-day events in parenthesis behind the title, e.g. “John (42)”.
In addition to this feature it is now possible to display the birthdays of your contacts by turning “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “General”, “Display birthdays of contacts” on.

add sync support for Evernote
and allow to specify dates in the notes e.g. using the format ##dd/mm/yyyy## to display these notes on the specified date
42 votesAfter this idea was created, Evernote added support for “reminders”. Starting with version 1.0.130 CalenGoo can be synced with Evernote and can display notes on their reminder’s date and time. Please see here for details: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/styled/pageevernote.html
To be able to display notes on a date mentioned in the note itself as suggested here would make it necessary for CalenGoo to download and parse all your notes. This would also be possible but isn’t implemented yet because Evernote added the reminders for this purpose. If the reminders are not sufficient, please contact me.

add a function to move the database to the SD card
to save memory in the phone itself
41 votesWith the new version 1.0.24 which has been released a few hours ago, it is now possible to move the database to the SD card. You can find the function under “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Maintenance”, “Move DB to SD card”. However the app certainly won’t work while the SD card is blocked and the database is not accessible, e.g. while the phone is connected via USB to a computer.
If you find any bugs please send an email to android@calengoo.com

add a "Today" button on the screen
Currently there is a "Today" button in the menu. Please vote for this idea if you would like to have a today button on the screen that is always visible. Write a comment where you would like it to be placed.
39 votesThere are currently two options to have a “Today” button on the screen:
1. You can turn “Settings > Display and Use > General > Show toolbar” on.
2. You can turn “Settings > Display and Use > General > Tapping a tab again jumps to current day” on. Then you can tap the active tab (e.g. “Day”) to jump to the current day.

Import / Export ICS File
Add the ability to import of export an ics file, from sd card or from an url
38 votesAll calendars can be exported as ICS files under “Settings > Display and Use > Maintenance > Export calendar as ICS file”. To import ICS files you need to create a local calendar in CalenGoo first (first create a local account under “Settings > Accounts”, then create a local calendar under “Settings > Visibility/Download”). Then you can import ICS files into it by using “Settings > Display and Use > Maintenance > Import calendar from ICS file”.
It is also possible to subscribe to ICS files that can be accessed e.g. via http or https: Just tap “Settings > Accounts > Add account > Subscribe webcal URL”.

have the ability to have the snooze function update the event time
For example: if an event scheduled for 10am is 'snoozed' for an hour, it then appears as an 11am event until completed or re-snoozed. Events 'snoozed' for a day would shift on the calendar view to the next day. This way events postponed would move forward and stay in view rather than disappear as the week moved forward. If I snooze an event I really don't care when it was originally scheduled but when I postponed it to remind me again.
36 votesThis is possible by turning “Settings > Reminders > Snoozing moves the whole event to a new time, not only the reminder” on.

In version 1.0.93, which has been released a few minutes ago, you can turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Month view”, “Vertical scrollable” on to get a vertically scrollable month view.

Integration of the new reminders from Evernote
I recently suggested the integration of evernote in calengoo... With the new reminders in Evernote, I guess it's easier than ever to integrate notes in calendars.
Would you consider to think about a special calendar syncing and displaying the notes with reminders ? I guess it would be displayed like google Tasks.
The Evernote API is ready already: http://dev.evernote.com/documentation/cloud/chapters/reminders.php
It would solve these 2 suggestions:
* http://calengooandroid.uservoice.com/forums/86409-general/suggestions/2648465-add-sync-support-for-evernote
* http://calengooandroid.uservoice.com/forums/86409-general/suggestions/3918228-handle-evernote-url-in-event-description35 votesStarting with version 1.0.130 CalenGoo can be synced with Evernote. Please see here for details: http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageinstallation/styled/pageevernote.html

display all-day events and tasks in landscape view in a bar at the top
So the all-day events and tasks would be displayed horizontally, at the top of the screen as in the day view, instead of vertically in the background.
28 votesStarting with version 1.0.43 you can turn “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Landscape day view (week)”, “All-day events as background bars” off to get a bar at the top of the landscape view that displays the all-day events and tasks. Version 1.0.43 has been released now.
